Four parameter of services

Install
start
Enable
Test

root> service servicename start/stop
service sshd status

Check no of service running.

Total Run Level Service is 0-6

0 : shutdown
1 : single user mode
2 : Non GUI with NFS
3 : Non GUI
4 : Unix
5 : GUI
6 : Restart

chkconfig --list : list of all services.
chkconfig --list servicename : particular service.
Configure the service on/off

chkconfig --level (0-6) sshd on/off
